Ramires has admitted that he would love to re-sign for Chelsea FC, two years after leaving the west London side to move to China.

The 30-year-old left Stamford Bridge to sign for Chinese side Jiangsu Suningon in January 2016 despite being in the prime of his career aged 28 at the time.

Ramires enjoyed an extremely successful spell with the Blues, winning the Champions League, the Europa League, the Premier League, the League Cup and the FA Cup with the west London side.

And the 30-year-old midfielder has now admitted that he would be keen on a move back to the west London side in the future.

Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Mirror, Bailly said: “Chelsea? I’ll always have special affection for them and I want to play for them again before finishing my career.

“I know the doors of Stamford Bridge will always be open to me and that wearing their jersey again would be spectacular.”

Chelsea FC are currently in very poor form, with the Blues having lost four of their last five Premier League games following their loss to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

The west London side will be aiming to get back to winning ways in the top flight when they take on Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title last season under Antonio Conte but they did not have the distraction of any European football at all last term.
