Operation Crocodile Smile II; Soldiers Raid Militants’ Camp In Delta State

The Nigerian military has successfully recorded another victory in the fight against militancy in the Niger Delta region. The troops attached to Operation Crocodile Smile II recovered ammunition belonging to suspected militants after storming their camp in Delta state on Tuesday.

According to reports, the troops had been dispatched to Ajakurama, Gelegele and Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area in the state when they discovered the camp, sources told our correspondent.

Upon sighting the troops, the militants fled the scene.

The soldiers subsequently searched the camp for weapons and set fire to the shrines at the camp.
