Eid-Ul-Fitr Celebration Turns Bloody As 15 year old Boy Is Shot Dead (Graphic Photo)

A 15-year old boy, was on Tuesday night shot in the head by unknown gunmen at an event to mark the Eid-Ul-Fitr in Kumasi.

According to reports, the teenager died from his head injuries during a raid by assailants believed to be armed robbers, who had been seizing phones belonging to celebrants at the event..


The teenager, identified simply as Osman, who was rushed to the Manhyia hospital but in view of the severity of his injury, they intend referred him to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he died on admission, failed to corporate leading to him being shot by one of them.

The attackers according to an eye witness, identified as Nurudeen Mohammed, fired the shot that hit Osman’s head from the dark.

Meanwhile, the Manhyia Divisional police command has commenced an investigation into the incident.
