Manchester United ended their overseas pre-season tour in Gothhenburg against Galatasaray in style. Two goals from Wayne Rooney and a stunner on his debut from Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave Manchester United a thrilling 5-2 pre-season victory against Galatasaray in Gothenburg.

Ibrahimovic delivered in spectacular fashion after three minutes to put United ahead before Gala hit back to exploit United's defensive weakness to lead 2-1 at half-time.

Rooney, playing at No 10, then turned the match in the second half by equalising from close range and converting a penalty after substitute Marcus Rashford had been fouled.

Marouane Fellaini headed a fourth after Antonio Valencia provided his third assist of the evening with a telling cross, and Juan Mata completed the scoring.
