McDonald's worker feeding disabled customer a burger becomes internet hero

A simple act of kindness has melted the hearts of thousands after a McDonald’s employee was pictured patiently feeding a burger to a disabled customer.
The heartwarming image was taken by a customer at the fast food branch in Chaozhou Town, Pingtung County, last week.

It was shared on Facebook on March 9 by a user called Li Ting who was touched to see the staff member helping the struggling man.



The caption of the picture, which has had almost 30,000 likes, reads: ‘People like this in society are running out.
‘The other day I went to McDonald’s with a friend to have a midnight snack, we saw this scene and were very touched.

‘Not because of his actions and the exclusion of inconvenience to him. Instead, he was very loving towards that person and patient when he helped him to bite the burger.


‘Thank you for helping him to eat a full meal so he can continue with his life.’

A McDonald’s spokesperson confirmed to the Apple Daily that the incident took place around 11pm on March 2.

The worker is reportedly a 19-year-old university student, known only as He.
He is believed to be studying at Meiho University in Pingtung County and has worked for McDonald’s for the past two years.


The company said they will be awarding the young employee for his kind act.
One Facebook user called Li Hong Ren reportedly commented: ‘A young man with a bright future, I salute you.’
While another user, called Zhen Pingxin, said: ‘I’m so moved, he is so compassionate.’
