Manchester United are now considering a move for Paris Saint Germain boss Laurent Blanc, according to reports.
United are believed to be considering sacking Louis van Gaal at the end of the current campaign following another disappointing season.
Jose Mourinho has been widely tipped to take over, but the Daily Star says attention has been turned to Blanc.
He helped knock Chelsea out of the Champions League last week and knows United after his stint there as a player between 2001 and 2003.
Blanc is also said to be loved by Sir Alex Ferguson, who signed him for the Red Devils and is now working as a club director.
The 50-year-old’s appointment could help United sign PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is claimed to be a target.
