Manchester United cleared to seal Cristiano Ronaldo transfer as Real Madrid may have to sell

Ronaldo a serious option for Man Utd after major development

Manchester United may have been given a huge boost in their bid to seal the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to latest reports, Real Madrid may have to sell the Portuguese forward this summer if they are to stand any hope of signing their other top targets.
The Spanish giants are keen to land big-name attacking players like Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Juventus’ Alvaro Morata, but neither will join if Ronaldo is still at the Bernabeu.

United have been repeatedly linked with a move to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, and this news could come as a major boost to their hopes.
According to Sport, Madrid president Florentino Perez is aware of the problems the 31-year-old brings to the side, and that could pressure him into making a big decision this summer.
Whether or not Manchester Utd will be Ronaldo’s destination (ahead of France, of MLS, of a couple of other places still being rumoured) remains to be seen.
