PLATEAU: Rage As 6 Men Rape 9-Yr-Old

The Plateau state command of the Nigerian police has made a series of arrests of suspected rapists at different occasion and locations in the state, causing fear and anger among residents of the state.
The police commissioner Chris Olakpe, revealed this at the Force headquarters on Wednesday in Jos, while speaking with journalists on successes made by his command in reducing crime rates in the state.
Mr. Olakpe said one of his team’s most shocking finds was the arrest of six men who jointly raped a 9-year-old.
He disclosed their names: “Richard John aged 30, Zere Adams aged 28, Hamza Musa aged 20, aged Ugochukwu Rapheal aged 25, Emmanuel Ibrahim aged 25 and aged Sok Davou. They are still at large.
“They all conspired and raped a 9 year old girl and destroyed her private part,” Mr. Olakpe said.
According to the police commissioner, one man was also arrested for colluding with seven other men to rape a 7 year old girl, injuring her severely in her private part. Mr. Olakpe mentioned many other cases, including raping of a neighbour’s daughter by a group of men, buying of a 20-month-old child by a group of child traffickers.
